Helpsters is focused on providing the best clean services in UAE. The product has been designed keeping the end-user in mind. The major stakeholders of the product are customers, helpers providing the services, admin of the portal.

At Sugoi Labs, we revel in dealing with challenges, it gives us opportunity to create, innovate, customise and learn. Helpsters was challenging given a intricacies of their operations and ensuring they can scale using this technology.

  • Helpsters which is a clean service website provides 24 hours cleaning services, which requires managing helpers and cleaners availability in various time slots and shifts.
  • Customers can select number of hours they need the helpers for, which needs dynamic time slots to be created.
  • To give customers an option to choose their own time slots without having to wait for a confirmation, which means we have to take care of the availability of the helpers, account for the travel time of helpers from Helpsters office to customer’s location.
  • Manage rates based on time of the booking, we have dynamic rates based on hour of the day.
  • Making payments easy, convenient and secure.

Solutions

At Sugoi Labs, we came up with a solution which made life of customers booking the service easier and helped them remain on top of their schedule and book cleaners based on their own preference.

  • We wrote a proprietary algorithm to manage time slots and availability, we made the solution so generic that we created am npm package for such dynamic time slots.
  • Helpers are given an hour for their travel time between two jobs.
  • On a given date, customers are shown all the available time slots, which they can choose from on a web page.
  • The custom web application we developed has payment processor, time slots management, availability and schedule management for helpers and interface for helpsters customer service team to manage all the bookings and requests coming in.
