This is one quote which we can relate to like never before. It was in 2018, we realised, we are destined to build amazing products. And boy! Did we create products, dishing them out one after the other. The year has been fulfilling on a whole new level this time.
We have been on a roll this past year. The startup ecosystem is brimming with business ideas that continue to enamour the entire ecosystem. That’s where we have been thriving throughout the year. Nothing makes us more content than happy customers. And we had it in plenty this year.
While we started our year with a clear loud bang by releasing – Vivarra Dental – an Augmented Reality Application for North American Market, in the app stores. We kept chipping away throughout the year to launch Locomo – a field force management product, one we had been ideating on for months – in November.
Here is a breakdown of our year in review at Sugoi Labs. What we did in each of these months the past year.
January
Vivarra Dental is a mobile App which is revolutionizing the patient experience using Augmented Reality. Vivarra Dental is built for kids who wait for a dentists’ appointments in dental clinics. The goal of building this product is to make kids’ waiting time less stressful by engaging kids in entertaining and educational content. Its one of its kind AR app in the app store currently. Helpsters is focused on providing the best clean services in UAE. The product has been designed keeping the end-user in mind. The web application takes care of the business end-to-end, right from getting a lead, bookings, employee scheduling, payments, invoicing and coupon engine. This was that time of the year. This is when we started ideating on Locomo. The product which enables businesses to track their on-field employees. The geo-fenced locations infuse trust in the business and employees. The SDK for Locomo can be easily integrated into any existing app and just like that your existing app has tracking, live location, geo-fencing and employee tracking ability.

Yesss! We turned 5 in May 2018. What an incredible journey this has been. I would not trade this experience for anything on this earth. This month marked our partnerships with entrprises and MNCs. GDB International is one of the largest recycled paints company in the USA. We got an opportunity to work with sustainability and environment conscious company to help them strengthen their digital presence. GDB has forayed into multiple colors making the white color a premium brand

With its recent round of funding, Byju’s is the world’s largest edutech company. Well, 2018 was the year we worked together with this giant and helped them streamline their internal processes by building proprietary software for them.
July
US-based pizza authentic Pizza store. When they started their franchise in Saudi Arabia, guess whom they turn to, yes, it was us. Building an ecommerce and Kitchen management system for the lip-smacking Pizzas was one great experience.

‘Track Your Metrics – TYM’ is a product by Outline India that consists of an all – in – one web-based platform and android application. It is a data collection app which helps in formulating goal oriented surveys. With it’s easy to use visualisation and reporting features, its one of the most convenient tools available in this space. We celebrate so many birthdays this month, lots of parties of course. This is when Locomo started taking its shape. We released the cloud application and POS software for a coffee subscription service in Saudi Arabia.

One of the leading insurance providers in emerging markets, with a presence in more than 15 countries. We were hired to make their websites easy to use. What we achieved with them was a more lively digital presence and help customers get information more conveniently.
November
An idea turned into reality, what we had envisioned was in our hands with its raw flesh and bone(not literally). The SDKs were shipped to our first set of customers. The sleepless nights spent on was finally bringing joy and customers. Know More Here

The holiday season could not have been better. With our customary Secret Santa , games night and parties, we got on to build a microapp on PhonePe(the largest UPI based payments app in India). The app was built for a sequoia capital funded start-up, which is giving biggies like big basket a run for their money.
